RVI , known as the “House of Helmets” throughout Mid Coast Maine, provides an extensive stock of recreation vehicle helmets, and after market parts and accessories for most major brands of snowmobiles, motorcycles, dirt bikes and ATVs.

RVI sells batteries for all sports vehicles as well as tires for motorcycles and ATVs which can be mounted for you as well. RVI’s staff provides experienced technical as well as high quality service for most power sports vehicles.

RVI was established in 1972 in West Bath, Maine to be the Chaparral Snowmobile and Sport Cycle Distributor for New England. After Chaparral’s  demise in 1974, RVI became the Skiroule snowmobile distributor and the Binelli motorcycle distributor for New England. In 1975, RVI moved to Bath, Maine and began large scale distribution of Smily Mopeds. Also in 1975 , RVI began its long successful distribution of Brave Log Splitters.

Since the late 1970s, RVI has continued a major focus on the sale of parts and accessories for the Power Sports trades, including parts for the older discontinued snow sleds. In 2009, RVI became the authorized Mid Coast Maine dealer for Kymco Motor Scooters and ATVs. Kymco, a Taiwanese company, is a relatively new entry into this field, but it builds a quality and durable product that is priced right and a Kymco Motor Scooter comes with a 2 year warranty.
